Relationship Manager (Merchants) – LAGOS

Job Description

1. Identify and reach out to potential merchants through various channels, such as cold calling, emailing, and networking events. 

2. Work closely with new merchants, especially the retail chain, to onboard them onto the payment service platform, including processing applications, explaining the benefits of using POS terminals, and completing setup and training. 

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing merchants to encourage continued use of the payment service and support business growth.

4. Provide product demonstrations to potential merchants to showcase the benefits and features of the payment processing service and POS terminals. 

5. Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for acquiring new merchants and generating revenue for the company. 


1. 3+ years of proven track record of success in managing merchant acquisition and management. 

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience. 

3. Strong customer-focused approach and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. 

4. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

5. Excellent knowledge of payment processing technology and POS terminals. 

6. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
